Well it has been quite a year for us! Since the last update of this blog, so much has occurred. We moved much closer to work, exactly 8.8 miles from door to door to be exact. Also, Michaeline has taken a job with Microsoft in the research division. We have been spending much of our spare time working on updating our very outdated house since moving in about 5 months ago. We have both celebrated birthdays, an anniversary (marriage rocks!), and have worked hard to get our Oregon property together. We've posted a lot of new photos, including Justin's motorcycle lessons, our happy beasts growing up, and some stunning pics from a holiday trip to Oregon building. Our tenants are awesome, and we are not just saying that because we know they might read this. Look for more updates soon, hopefully some pictures of the house in its final stage of "Phase 1."

This is a wonderful reminder of our beautiful wedding day!

We have entered into the landlord business!  As new owners of a historical building in Lafayette, Oregon, we are very excited with the future of this building. It was built in the early 1900's as the picture in the album shows. Once some repairs on the building are complete, we will actively search for a tenant! Already we are feeling connected to the community in Oregon, and we hope we will be able to give back to it in any way possible! This area of Oregon is rich in history, and has some of the best wine country out there!

Well we did it! We have successfully executed what is the greatest (and best) decision of our lives! Marriage...is...awesome! We are glowing from the honeymoon, and thankful to all of those people who have helped make our lives and new transition wonderful.
